As time goes by, tissues get more fragile, wrinkles appear and the fat beneath the skin diminishes.
This loss of fat is responsible for the shadows that appear in hollowed areas of the face. It can also be observed in the hands, giving an appearance of “skin over bones” that really ages the patient.
To treat the nasolabial folds (1), I can use Juvéderm Voluma in pillar points, as you can see in the video below. Alternatively, I can directly inject the folds with Juvéderm Volift or Juvéderm Ultra 3 with lidocaine.
To open up the expression (2), I can use Juvéderm Volift that will lift the brow tail.
For the tear through (3), I can combine Juvéderm Voluma and Juvéderm Volift at various injection spots.
The chin (4) will be the perfect spot for Juvéderm Voluma injection.
The cheeks (5) can be smoothed using either Juvéderm Volift or Juvéderm Ultra 3.

As we age, the face can lose volume and radiance, which leads to a hollow appearance. The point is not to overinflate the face, but to restore the shape that has been modified.
For forehead wrinkles, the best treatment is botulinum toxin, or Botox.
Dermal fillers containing hyaluronic acid are the best treatment to plump, restructure and restore radiance to the face.
Result is noticeable the same day. After the injections, the patient can resume their daily activities. Often, partners notice the positive change and compliment the patient on their refreshed appearance, either later in the day or a few days after the treatment. These treatments are straightforward, effective, and highly rewarding. They offer great enthusiasm and satisfaction.
To correct aging, I preferably use the hyaluronic acids from the line of product Juvéderm, from the laboratory ALLERGAN. There are several options available, but I prefer those from the latest generation: the Vycross range, which I use with the MD Codes method. The flagship products within this range are Juvéderm Voluma, Juvéderm Volift and Juvéderm Volbella. There is another range called the Juvéderm Ultra.

All of these products contain lidocaine to enhance patients’ comfort during the injections, as it is an anesthetic product. Additionally, I have my own routines and preferences based on individual situations.
Our hands often reveal signs of aging, such as thinning skin and loss of subcutaneous fat. Fortunately, there is a treatment option available using hyaluronic acid injections, such as Juvéderm Volift or Ultra 3, which can restore youthfulness to the hands for approximately 15 months.
Among the techniques at my disposal, I have the ability to choose and propose the most suitable option based on what bothers the patient, as well as their budget, availability, and constraints. Sometimes, a patient who seeks rejuvenation may not have significant signs of aging to undergo surgery, or they may not have the time or fear of undergoing a surgical procedure.

VOLUMA? VOLIFT? OR VOLBELLA FROM ALLERGAN?
We chose a product because we can predict the outcome of its injection. That’s what we call predictability.
For instance, when a patient comes to me wanting nice lips, not too much volume but something refined, I choose the technique and the product that I know will produce the expected result. In this case, I shall use Juvéderm Volbella that I can combine with Juvéderm Volift.
An excellent hyaluronic acid is required, but also a perfect technique and an extensive experience, so that the patient will have the desired result.
Only the right hyaluronic acid placed in the right location with the correct technique can produce a beautiful, long-lasting, and natural result. The injections should not be visible. Instead, we should see a radiant, youthful, and naturally beautiful patient.
Hyaluronic acid is the perfect aesthetic product. It’s a natural component of the extracellular tissue. Ophthalmologists also use it to separate tissues during surgical procedures. It is resorbable but has long-lasting effects of one to two years, depending on the type of product, with immediate results.
Filling the hollows of the tear through, for instance, illuminate the face that is able to catch more light. The nasolabial and marionette lines are improved.
We can correct under-eye circles, change a receding chin, smooth out a little bump on the nose or plump a damaged ear lobe from wearing earrings…
Of course, it is also used to rejuvenate and reshape the contour of the lips. Lips will be less dry, more vibrant and inviting for a kiss.
During the appointment, I examine the patients, their request and their budget to choose the best treatment plan,that will satisfy them without causing financial strain.
Afterward, I take photos and then proceed with the injections. Patience is required, especially for first-time patients. With a mirror, I show the patient the results obtained and ask for their feedback on whether the correction is sufficient or if I need to continue further. As patients become more accustomed, I understand their preferences and desires, making subsequent sessions faster.
I then massage the treated areas to ensure a uniform result. The final outcome is quickly visible and continues to improve over the course of about two weeks.
My goal is for the patient to return home and hear compliments such as “You look beautiful tonight” or “Did you change your hairstyle?” The result should be noticeable but discreet.
